Why she might be annoying:

    She resembles Demi Moore.
    She despises intellectualism and high culture ever since she graduated from university.
    Also, she was originally trained to be a philologist, only to completely lose interest in it.
    Some have mistakenly accused her of being leftist simply because of her poor background despite her opposition to a communist regime.
    She left Cuba for Switzerland and stayed there for two years without obtaining government permission. (2002-2004)
    Upon returning back to Cuba for a 'family visit', she destroyed her passport so that she won't be deported.
    She quarreled with Raúl Castro's daughter Mariela over the subject of human rights in Cuba on Twitter. (November 8, 2011)

    She risks her life telling the outside world about her difficult life in Cuba.
    Her European appearance and ability to speak German enabled her to enter tourist hotels, where she could access a computer that could allow her to post her blog from a flash memory.
    Generation Y has been viewed by over half a million people worldwide.
