She currently refuses to do nude scenes, because she’s embarrassed about the captures of her published around the internet.
She studied journalism, but dropped out to pursue a career as actress.
When she was young, she wanted to be a politician.
Her English is awful and director James L. Brooks ordered a language coach to her to improve the mexican accent for her role in 'Spanglish.'

'Sex and Lucia' has a large amount of nudity and explicit sex scenes, some of them very close to pornography.
She has done several nude scenes, also full frontal and close-up shots.
Her conservative parents felt bothered after they noticed their daughter appeared in such erotic flicks.
Before she gained her first secondary role in some Spanish TV series, she used to work as waitress to maintain herself.
She earned the Goya Prize, the greatest award in the Spanish cinematography by her role in 'Sex and Lucia.'
