    NL All Star (1977-1981, 1984)
    Inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame (2006)
    He had an afro in the 1970's and 1980's.
    He spent nearly five years in the Cubs minor league system.
    He angered many Cubs fans by going into the Baseball Hall of Fame with a Cardinals hat (it was the Hall of Fame's decision though).
    He worked in a cigar factory.
    He is the first Baseball Hall of Fame pitcher to never start a game.
    He made St. Louis Cardinal fans happy by going into the Hall of Fame wearing a Cardinal hat.
