    She was known as 'The Hungarian Rhapsody.'
    She spoke little English when she first arrived in Hollywood, so Samuel Goldwyn had her answer reporters' questions with 'lamb chops and pineapple.'
    Her heavy Hungarian accent ended her film career when talkies became popular.
    Her death was not make public until 1992 because she had been angered by the lack of media attention when she became terminally ill.
    In her time, she was one of the most popular and successful actresses of the silent era.
    Rudolph Valentino personally chose her to be the female lead in 'The Son of the Sheik.'
    Her off screen romance with Valentino was cut short by Goldwyn who was afraid of gossip.
    She stayed married to actor Rod la Rocque for 42 years until his death in 1969.
    She was an excellent golfer and was still playing in her eighties.
