Witch Hunter
    (July 13, 1863-November 13, 1963)
    Raised in England
Wrote 'Witch Cult in Western Europe (1921),' 'The God of the Witches (1933)' and 'Divine King of England (1954)'
She believed in a devil-worshipping witch cult that dated back to prehistoric times (a theory now rejected by scholars).
She thought fairies and elves were actually stunted humans hiding in the British woods.
She claimed the British royal family was a secret witch society.
She fudged facts to support her crazy witch-cult arguments.
Modern neo-pagans based Wicca on her writings.
When a local man was killed in a sacrifice-style murder, she interfered in the investigation with her kooky witch theories.
She became a huge success in academia at a time when most women weren't even educated.
Some Wiccans love her for being the first to take their 'Old Religion' seriously.
She was noted for her contributions to archaeology and Egyptology.
Her ideas inspired horror writers like H. P. Lovecraft.
She wrote her own autobiography at the age of 100.
