    She tried out and failed to make the Australian gymnastics team for the 2000 Summer Olympics due to injuries.
    She enjoys playing golf.
    She finished in 8th place during her Olympics debut (2002).
    She suffered a torn ACL during the 2006 Winter Olympics in Torino resulting in a 14th place finish (2006).

    She once did gymnastics until she gave up the sport in 1999.
    She posed for MAXIM.
    She was the second Australian athlete to win a gold medal at the 2010 Winter Olympics.
    She was also the second female freestyle skier from Australia to win an Olympic Gold medal in Women's Aerials following Alisa Camplin.
    She has a degree in Applied Science (Human Movement) from RMIT University in Melbourne.
    She won The Don award from the Australian Sporting Hall of Fame for her acheivements (October 20, 2010).
