She had breast implants, eye lifts, collagen injected into her lips and botox treatments.
She was prone to panic attacks and lengthy periods of depression.
She divorced Olympic swimmer Scott Miller after less than two years of marriage.
She ticked off her homeland when she said, 'New Zealand is small, nasty and vindictive. It's a tiny, little village ... a tiny country at the end of the earth.'
She led an anti-cyberbullying campaign while sending out tweets attacking the recipients as a 'sad attention whore,' 'fame whore,' 'Westie scrag,' 'suburban fattie' and 'sad, ugly mole.'

Why she might not be annoying:

She was sexually abused by a neighbor when she was eight.
She had to have her breast implants removed after they leaked silicone.
Scott Miller pressured her into getting an abortion so her pregnancy would not be a distraction during his preparation for the 2000 Olympics, and left her alone at the clinic.
After she joined the anti-cyberbullying group Community Brave, she became the target of an organized campaign of online harassment.
She was also spokesperson for the anti-bullying group Angels Goal and was named anti-bullying ambassador for the National Rugby League.
