    They were not very respected n the metal community.
    They are an 80’s hair metal band.
    Kip Winger named the band after himself.
    They were featured on the soundtracks of ‘Karate Kid 3’ and ‘Bill and Ted’s Bogus Journey.’
    For some reason, they felt the need to have two bassists.
    Like all hair metal bands, they released several power ballads.
    They did a terrible cover of the Jimi Hendrix classic, ‘Purple Haze.’
    Kip is trained in ballet.
    Kip Winger started out as a bassist for Alice Cooper.
    They were a part of a massive world your which featured ZZ Top, Kiss, and The Scorpions.
    Stewart from Beavis and Butthead was always seen wearing a Winger t-shirt.
    Their debut album, ‘Winger’ went platinum in the U.S., and went gold in Canada and Japan.
    They were a huge hit in Japan.
