The Resume

    (October 19, 1933-August 6, 1990)
    Born in New Haven, Connecticut
Drafted 97th overall by the Green Bay Packers in the 1959 NFL Draft
Running back for the Montreal Alouettes (1959-65)
    CFL Most Outstanding Player (1962)
Head coach of the Loyola College Warriors (1968-73)

Why he might be annoying:

His career was cut short due to injuries.
Despite putting on an impressive training camp and preseason with the Packers, his performance wasn't good enough to impress Vince Lombardi.
He missed out on a chance of being part of the last Packers dynasty before the modern Super Bowl era.
He spent his entire CFL career on poor Alouettes teams.
His tenure as head coach at Loyola College faded into obscurity after the school's merger and eventual renaming to Concordia University.

Why he might not be annoying:

He was a solid running back when he was healthy.
He was one of the first players in Alouettes history to have their jersey number retired.
He recorded a 95 yard kick return for a touchdown in a preseason game as a member of the Packers (1959).
He recorded four touchdowns in a single game (1960).
He was instrumental in the turnaround of the Loyola College football program, as he guided the team to a run of success prior to the merger with Sir. George Williams University.
