Had Yau-Man made the final three, he had enough votes to win, easily.
For the reunion show teaser Jeff promised 'the most controversial decision ever made by a Survivor.' He insisted it would have 'everybody talking' (it didn't). The controversary was Yau-Man giving the truck he won to Dreamz for a future immunity. Dreamz took the truck but later did not give the immunity to Yau-Man
Mellisa bailed out just prior to the game beginning.
During the team stage, the Ravu won only one challenge against the Moto.
Gary (and Mellisa) never attended a Tribal Council.
The finalists did not make closing statements.
At the reunion, Gary showed off a full-color tattoo of the Survivor Fiji logo on his upper arm.
Yau-Man took full responsibility for trading the truck he won to Dreamz for future immunity. Dreams reneged on that promise.
An immunity idol was hidden at each camp. Either could be played after the votes were cast but before the votes were read.
After an absence of several seasons, the gross food challenge returned.
The tribes competed in a dance-off called 'meke.'
After Alex used the first immunity idol, it was re-hidden. Earl found it.
When Yau-Man played the second idol, it nullified the four votes he received at the Final Six. This sent Stacy packing.
Earl received all nine jury votes, a first for the U.S. season (it happened twice in the British version).
