They are the first band signed on the Beatles' Apple Record label.
They took their name from 'Bad Finger Boogie' (the working title of the Beatle's 'With a Little Help From My Friends').
They considered the names 'Glass Onion' and 'the Prix.'
They were asked more about the Beatles than their music.
Ham, 27, short of money, hung himself (April 23, 1975).
Evans, Molland and Gibbins fronted rival bands using the Badfinger legend, prompting legal action.
After a loud telephone argument with Molland, Evans, 36, hung himself (November 19, 1983).
Molland released a live Badfinger album using over dubbed twenty year old tapes.
Despite have an entirely different sound the surviving members tour as Badfinger.

It hit #4 in the U.K. and #7 in the U.S. (1969).
Ham and Evans wrote 'Without You,' which reached #1 and won a Grammy for Harry Nilsson (1972).
The lost their money when their manager, Stan Polley, stole it and Apple filed for bankruptcy, tied up their publishing royalties.
