Created and distributed by Razor and Tie Direct, Ltd.
The Kidz Bop Kids have covered songs by many artists including Kelly Clarkson, Green Day, Rob Thomas, Weezer, Hilary Duff, Modest Mouse, Smash Mouth, Madonna, Enrique Iglesias, Gwen Stefani, Jessica Simpson, Ashlee Simpson, Britney Spears and U2

Why he might be annoying:

They have inspired other, less-popular CDs of kids singing popular songs.
Who would rather hear a bunch of kids sing a Weezer song over the actual band?
They make really cheesy music videos.
They sing a lot of controversial songs. Some of the songs they have covered are; Rob Thomas’ ‘Lonely No More,’ which is about sex, Green Day’s ‘Wake Me up When September Ends,’ which is about death, and ‘Boulevard of Broken Dreams,’ which contains the word ‘fuck.’ The editors simply remove that word from the song as if it didn’t exist.
When covering Jet's 'Are You Gonna Be My Girl' they switched the word 'Man' to 'Boy.'

Why he might not be annoying:

Thankfully, the children do not rap.
It is an extremely successful CD series.
It provides a wide variety of music to kids at a lower price than buying individual CDs.
Although they mainly cover more recent songs, they have covered some classic songs by The Beatles and The Monkees.
