    Recorded the albums 'Pickin Up the Pieces' (1969), 'Poco' (1970), 'Deliverin' (1971), 'From the Inside' (1971), 'A Good Feelin to Know' (1972), 'Crazy Eyes' (1973), 'Seven' (1974), 'Head Over Heels' (1975), 'Indian Summer' (1977), 'Legend' (1978), 'Under the Gun' (1980), 'Cowboys and Englishmen' (1982), 'Legacy' (1989), 'Running Horse' (2002), 'Keeping the Legend Alive' (2004) and 'The Wildwood Sessions' (2006)
    Recorded the singles 'Crazy Love' (1979) and 'Call It Love' (1989)
    They originally called themselves 'Pogo' after the comic strip but had to change the name when Walt Kelly objected.
    Over the years, Young has been the only constant in their line-up.
    Meisner quit the group so quickly, his photo did not appear on their debut album.
    Partly because of the large number of labels they recorded for, their 'greatest hits' albums outnumber their original releases.
    They were pioneers of the country rock sound.
    Messina joined Loggins and Messina while Meisner and his replacement, Timothy B. Schmidt, both joined the Eagles.
    Twenty years after recording their debut, the original line-up reunited for the successful 'Legacy' album.
    Grantham suffered a stroke during a live performance (July, 2004). The band created a donor fund on its website to help offset his medical expenses.
