They are a one hit wonder.
Known locally as Beau Leisure, original member Corinne Drewery quit in 1984 to form Swing Out Sister.
Foregoing a female vocalist, Mann was pegged to replace her and the band changed its name.
The band's one and omly album, 1988's self-titled 'When in Rome,' peaked at a dismal #84 on the U.S. Albums chart.
In 1988 'The Promise' hit #11 on the U.S. Singles chart and #1 on its Club Play Singles chart.
With its music video in heavy rotation on MTV, the song sold over a million copies.
After the band's initial break-up Floreale moved to Dallas and became an award winning composer for TV and film, which included 1994's video release 'Playboy: Girls of Hooters.'
Reforming the band with new singers, Floreale toured successfully in 2006-07 with other '80s powerhouse bands such as Devo, the Psychedelic Furs and A Flock of Seagulls.
