Why they might be annoying
Wednesday came from a band called 'Frankenstein Drag Queens from Planet 13.'
Wednesday shrieks and croaks his vocals.
Their lyrics and song titles are, overall, pathetic and childish.
Some titles include 'Slit My Wrist,' 'I Take Drugs,' and 'I Love to Say Fuck.'
Founding member Tripp Eisen left the group in 2002 to devote all his time to Static-X.
Because of him and Joey (who is Slipknot's drummer) they're regarded as a Slipknot/Static-X side project more than anything else.
They wear tight vinyl and face paint, ala Marilyn Manson.
Their breakthrough came with a cover of Billy Idol's 'White Wedding.'
Why they might not be annoying
Their influences include 80's hair metal, Alice Cooper, KISS, and the Misfits.
Their lyrical approach is similar to the Misfits, focusing mainly on B-movie/cheap horror imagery.
Joey Jordison, although best known as Slipknot's drummer, is proficient on guitar as well.
Joey and Tripp formed the group in '99 during a Slipknot/Static-X tour.
'Beyond the Valley of the Murderdolls' was unique in 2002.
