Why he might be annoying:

This person tried to fool the entire world by making everyone believe that a photo of a man taken on top of the WTC seconds before one of the hijacked planes hit was found in a camera in the rubble and released by the FBI to the public.
This paralleled the hoax that a guy on the 80th floor rode the building down and only suffered broken legs.
Some of the glaring errors are he's over dressed for the warm weather, the plane was not the one that hit, the observation deck was not open at the time of the attack and the northern tower which was first hit doesn't have an observation deck.

Why he might not be annoying:

He spawned an Internet cult following on the level of Mahir Cagri.
Several humorous web sites, like touristguy.com sprung up with his image on movie scenes, famous tragedies, etc.
The picture was intended for his friends only.
