Best know as Mary Campbell on the ABC TV series 'Soap' (1977-81) and Cassie Parker on the TV series 'Webster' (1984-1986)
Also acted in 'Friendships, Secrets and Lies (1979),' 'How to Beat the High Co$t of Living (1980),' 'Midnight Offerings (1981),' 'Not in Front of the Children (1982),' 'Who Will Love My Children? (1983),' 'The First Time (1983)' and 'She's Having a Baby (1988)'
Died of cancer at age 56

Why she might be annoying:

She started late in her TV career, landing the 'Soap' role at age 47.
Her 'Soap' TV husband, Richard Mulligan, nicknamed her 'Toots.'
She was up for an Emmy three times for 'Soap,' but the year she won (1980), she couldn't receive her trophy because there was a Screen Actors Guild strike.

Why she might not be annoying:

She studied ballet and began dancing at age 16.
She performed in several On and Off-Broadway plays and musicals.
When Mulligan won an Emmy for 'Empty Nest' in 1989, he made a point during his speech to thank her for her collaboration and support on 'Soap.'
Her last movie, 'She's Having a Baby (1988),' was released a year after she succumbed to cancer.
