Why she might be annoying:

She was very shy, especially around girls.
Her shyness made it necessary for her to be home schooled.
She wanted to be a guy so much that she would almost always appear in slacks and rarely ever wear makeup.
By 1938, she was in so many flops that studios considered her 'box office poison.'
Her grades were so poor at Bryn Mawr college that she was given the ultimatum, that if her grades did not improve, she would be kick out of their theater group.
When her slacks were stolen from her dressing room, she walked around the studio in her underpants until they were returned.
She was nearly decapitated by an airplane propeller when she ran from the press at the airport.
She takes several cold showers every day.

She ranked #68, in Empire Magazine's Top 100 Movie Stars of All Time.
Her head shakes severely but she does not have Parkinson's Disease.
Foolish questions upset her, especially when Barbara Walters asked if she was a tree what kind of a tree would she be?
She was a good enough teenage ice skater to win a bronze medal at a Madison Square Garden competition.
She put her acting career into perspective saying: 'Acting really isn't a high class way to making a living. Is it? Nobody ever won a Nobel Prize for acting.'
