The Resume

    (1970- )
    Born in California
Former aide to Alaska governor Sarah Palin
Key figure in the Troopergate scandal
Author of 'Blind Allegiance to Sarah Palin: A Memoir of Our Tumultuous Years' (2011)

Why he might be annoying:

He was caught pressuring state troopers to fire Palin’s ex-brother-in-law, Trooper Mike Wooten, in a phone call leaked to the press.
He was fined $12,000 for publishing the content of confidential state emails in his book, violating the state's ethics laws.
His book suffered in sales, in large part due to the fact that the rough draft of the manuscript was leaked before publication by author Joe McGinniss (who was preparing his own book on Palin, likely seeking to kneecap his competition).

Why he might not be annoying:

He writes church music as a hobby.
He grew up poor in the Kodiak Island territory of Alaska.
He was the Palin campaign administrator for the successful 2006 primary and general election campaigns.
He endured awkward promotional interview sit downs with Bill O'Reilly and Sean Hannity, the latter whom angrily berated him and scolded him for writing the book.
