He was a high school wrestler.
Many people don't know who he is, even though he is the country's third-highest elected official.
He opposes many forms of abortion.
He voted against banning soft money campaign contributions.
He supports trade relations with China without objecting to that country's human rights abuses.
He goes by his middle name.
He was indicted by a federal grand jury on charges of allegedly illegally withdrawing cash to 'buy the silence' of a student with whom he had 'past misconduct' (May 28, 2015).
