    (May 8, 1913-May 4, 1984)
    Born in San Diego, California
Animator for Warner Brothers' Looney Toons and Merrie Melodies
Created the TV series 'Time for Beany' (1949-55) and 'Beany and Cecil' (1962)

Why he might be annoying:

Mel Blanc called him an 'egotist who took credit for everything.'
He often called himself the 'creator' of Bugs Bunny although several animators contributed to his development.
He directed 'Coal Black and de Sebben Dwarfs' (1943), which has been banned for its 'darky' stereotypes.

Why he might not be annoying:

His cartoons, such as 'Porky in Wackyland' and 'The Big Snooze,' were known for their surreal imagery.
Groucho Marx and Albert Einstein were fans of his work on 'Time for Beany.'
An avid boater, he rescued three men from a boating accident.
