The Resume

    (August 26, 2003-December 23, 2010)
    Born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada
Starring Kenny Hotz and Spencer Rice
Premise: Two friends have competitions against each other to see who can outdo one another in a timely manner

Why Kenny vs. Spenny might be annoying:

It encourages cheating and employing dirty tactics to win.
Kenny often wins by getting away with cheating.
Spenny often whines and complains about the tactics being used during the episode.
Their humiliations often involve poses and stunts in a homoerotic nature.
It often centers around excessive toilet humor.
The show aired on CBC for two seasons before it was deemed too offensive to be on the network.
Kenny often takes advantage of Spenny's paranoid nature to win the competitions.
In one episode, Kenny once wore a shirt that read 'My grandparents went to Auschwitz and brought me back this crappy t-shirt.'
It became a target of a lawsuit in British Columbia after the episode 'Who Can Piss The Most People Off' saw Kenny have an airplane banner fly over Toronto reading 'JESUS SUCKS.'
The loser of the show often whines to the camera in the closing credits.

Why Kenny vs. Spenny might not be annoying:

It has a cult following in Canada.
It received second life after being picked up by the Canadian cable network 'Showcase.'
Since both Kenny and Spenny are Jewish, they often make references to Judaism on the show.
Despite being a show about competitiveness, it often focuses on the tactics used to win instead of the actual victory itself.
Most of the humor on the show revolves around the different personalities of the two main characters.
Trey Parker and Matt Stone became executive producers on the show after the third season.
It became the inspiration for many competitive shows worldwide.
Despite rumors to the contrary, the show is all improvised and unscripted.
