TV Series
    (April 1, 1994-May 23, 1999)
Originally aired on ABC (1994-1995) and The WB (1995-1999)
    Principal cast
Tia Mowry as Tia Andrea Landry
Tamera Mowry as Tamera Ann Campbell
    Jackee Harry as Lisa Landry-Sims
Tim Reid as Raymond Earl Campbell
    Marques Houston as Roger Evans
Premise: Two twin girls separated at birth are reunited with their adoptive parents and try to live their lives together in suburban Detroit
It ripped off both 'Full House' and 'The Parent Trap!'
ABC probably picked up the sitcom so that it could capitalize on the success of Ashley and Mary-Kate Olsen from the network's own 'Full House.'
It had one of the corniest and sleaziest television theme songs ever.
Its opening sequence was changed in the final two seasons to have a more 'music video' style feel.
Along with fellow ABC shows about divorced or dysfunctional families such as 'Full House' and 'Step by Step,' you'd think that family values were the least of ABC's priorities.
    Three words: 'Gooo home Roooger!!!'
The twins characters' names had the same first names in real life!
The twins would often feud to the point that they went from sleeping in the same bedroom to having separate rooms by the end of the fourth season.
One episode featured the Mowry twins' real life little brother Tahj.
For a family show, it contained a lot of sexual innuendo.
Right in the middle of the second season, the series moved from ABC to the just launched The WB network, where it never achieved the same ratings as its fist season and the show suffered a quiet death.
It made the Mowry twins overnight stars.
It gave acting jobs to Tim Reid and Jackee Harry, who previously were in two successful TV shows ('227' and 'Simon & Simon').
It tackled serious and sometimes sensitive issues such as teen pregnancy and bullying.
Many actors and athletes appeared on the show including (gasp)...the Olsen twins!
