With The Guess Who he recorded 'These Eyes (1968),' 'Laughing (1968),' 'Undun (1968),' and 'American Woman (1970)'
They won the Juno Award for best group (1970, 1971)
As a solo artist he recorded 'Stand Tall (1976),' 'My Own Way To Rock (1977),' 'Break It To Them Gently (1978)' and 'I Will Play A Rhapsody (1979)'
He won the Juno Award for male vocalist of the year (1977, 1980), most promising male vocalist of the year (1977) and best selling album (1979)

Why he might be annoying:

His partying caused Randy Bachman to leave The Guess Who.
The Guess Who broke up when he left for his solo career.
He registered at hotels under his real name, and then wonder why he got so many phone calls.

Why he might not be annoying:

He earned a degree in piano at 19.
He overcame a condition called leukoplakia, which caused a build up of plague on his vocal chords, making him unable to sing.
He becomes extremely nervous playing in his hometown of Winnipeg.
He repaired his relationship with Randy Bachman and reunited with the band.
