Why she might be annoying
She launched a brief singing career, which ended when her singles failed to make the Billboard Hot 100.
The only film in which she had a leading role, ‘The Girls on the Beach,’ was a not very successful attempt to clone the Annette and Frankie ‘Beach Party’ formula.
Her explanation for why her career came to a halt: ‘I guess I went out of style. They wanted tall blondes and I was a short brunette.’
Why she might not be annoying
After viewing the screen tests of the girls auditioning for ‘Bachelor Father,’ Ronald Reagan personally recommended her to star John Forsythe.
She remained friends with Forsythe until his death. (And commented during Forsythe’s Dynasty days, ‘I always thought he was the most handsome man in the world.’)
After leaving movies and TV in the mid-60s, she joined choreographer Bella Lewitzky’s modern dance company.
