    During her Summer Olympics return in Beijing, China, she was in 5th place as she finished the 100-meter breaststroke event (2008).
    She and her husband Nathan Jendrick, wrote a book about tips for a good swimming body.
    She likes Beatles music.
    Her swimming career was inspired by Amanda Beard.
    She competed as the youngest swimmer to win two gold medals in Summer Olympics (2000).
    She has done charity work.
    She was a world record holder for the fastest breast relay prior to 2003.
