The Resume

    (January 26, 1783-October 12, 1851)
    Born in London, United Kingdom
    Birth name was Augusta Byron
    Half-sister of Lord Byron
Had the same father, different mothers

Why she might be annoying:

She married her cousin, George Leigh.
She had an affair with Lord Byron, who probably was the father of her daughter Medora.
After Medora's birth, Byron, referring to the belief that a child of an incestuous affair would be deformed, wrote 'It is not an Ape, and if it is that must be my fault.'
The Guardian noted that other than being Byron's sister/lover, 'She does not appear to have been a very remarkable person.'

Why she might not be annoying:

She and Byron grew up in separate households, which arguably made their affair less creepy.
She was an accomplished mimic who could make Byron laugh at himself.
She was constantly in poverty thanks to her husband's gambling.
She wrote, 'I am a miracle of strength for I have had much to combat with.'
