Football Coach
    (June 1, 1966- )
    Born in Wyckoff, New Jersey
Head coach for Rutgers (2001-11) and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (2012-13)
    NCAA coaching record: 68-67
    NFL coaching record: 11-21
He went 13-34 in his first four seasons at Rutgers.
His tenure with the Buccaneers was plagued with scandals.
Many of his players were turned off by his hard-nosed coaching style.
He is considered a control freak by football pundits.
Despite his impressive credentials at Rutgers, he failed to continue the same degree of success with the Bucs.
He served as a defensive coordinator with the University of Miami, prior to landing the job at Rutgers.
He guided the Scarlet Knights to their first Bowl Game since 1978 (2005).
His tenure at Rutgers was considered a success since he turned a perennial losing program into a contender.
One of his first moves upon being appointed by the Buccaneers was signing Eric LeGrand, a player from Rutgers who was paralyzed in a game, to an honorary contract.
