Bodybuilder
    (January 27, 1938- )
    Professional bodybuilder, singer, and author
Winner of the Mr Europe contest and three time winner of the Mr Universe and Mr World contests in the sixties and early seventies
Author of the books; It'll Be Alright in the Morning, (1977) Women of the Olympia, (1981) Muscle Wars, (1985) Posedown, (1987) and Foolish Virgins in 2002
Wrote for Muscle Builder and Flex bodybuilding magazines in the 70's and 80's and for Muscular Development in the mid 90's
Well after retirement and after presenting themselves as friends in his book, Muscle Wars, he accused Arnold Schwarzenegger of being a racist.
His singing (1950's style Pop/R&B) career never developed beyond the nightclub stage and his only record flopped.
His willingness to 'tell all' about bodybuilding in his writings did not extend to talking about steroid use by bodybuilders.
Although he certainly had more than a respectable career, he not only never won the Mr. Olympia title, he never even qualified to enter it.
After retirement, he moved back to his native St. Lucia; started his own publishing company, Star Publishing Company, was elected to St. Lucia's Senate and worked fiercely for the common people and against government and business corruption.
He may very well be the best writer on the subject of bodybuilding of all time.
He had 21 inch arms at a body weight of only 195 pounds.
He served honorably in the British Army in the 1950's.
He was generally well liked in bodybuilding circles.
