    (August 5, 1941- )
District Attorney for Los Angeles County, California (1992-2000)
Released the photography books 'Iron: Erecting the Walt Disney Concert Hall,' 'Frozen Music' and 'Dance In Cuba'
As District Attorney, he shouldered most of the public blame for O.J. Simpson's not guilty verdict (1995).
More than a decade after Simpson's verdict, 'angry white people' still approached him about their displeasure with his office.
He ran for a third term as DA, but lost largely because of the Rampart Scandal.
His role in the Rampart Scandal: many voters felt he wasn't doing enough to go after corrupt police officers who were accused of using excessive force.
He took extreme measures to crackdown on 'deadbeat dads' who weren't paying child support.
As a result, many men were legally forced to pay child support for kids that weren't biologically theirs.
He earned his law degree from UCLA, and his undergraduate degree from USC.
He was a fellow at Harvard University's JFK School of Government.
After his time as District Attorney, he became a successful photographer.
He raised awareness about the water crisis (unsafe drinking water) in African villages.
About the Rampart Scandal, he says many police officers wouldn't cooperate with any investigation.
He worked as a consultant producer on TNT's incredibly popular legal drama, The Closer.
