    His trademark was his round eyeglasses.
    He doesn't get all the respect he deserves from Los Angeles Laker fans, mainly because he played in Minneapolis.
    His Laker teams always had a hard time when they played the Harlem Globetrotters.
    His dominance meant that one has to be extraordinarily tall to succeed in the NBA.
    He initially retired when he was 29. He came back two years later and retired again after 37 games.
    He was the NBA's first superstar and led the league's first dynasty.
