Why they might be annoying
Jewish leaders have complained that they use misleading language and deceptive tactics to convert Jews to Christianity.
They tend to gloss over the non-trivial problem that belief in Jesus' divinity is incompatible with Judaism.
The Interfaith Conference of Metropolitan Washington condemned Jews for Jesus as 'harmful to the spirit of interreligious respect and tolerance.'
Jackie Mason sued them, claiming one of their pamphlets falsely implied that he was a member (2006).
Why they might not be annoying
They successfully sued the Los Angeles International Airport over their First Amendment right to distribute pamphlets (1978).
They issued a letter of apology to Mason, who dropped his suit.
They inspired the creation of Jews for Judaism.
