Sex Researcher
    (February 2, 1859-July 8, 1939)
Born in Croydon, England, United Kingdom
Birth name was Henry Havelock Ellis
Wrote the seven-volume 'Studies in the Psychology of Sex' (1897-1928)
He was an expert on sex who was a virgin until age 60.
After his book 'Sexual Inversion' was declared obscene by a British court, he would publish his work only in Germany and the US.
He married Edith Lees without telling her that he was impotent.
He was sexually aroused by women urinating.
He advocated eugenics and refused to condemn the Nazi program of forced sterilizations.
Because of his own sexual quirks, he was very tolerant towards those of other people.
He went against prevailing Victorian opinions, declaring that masturbation was harmless and that homosexuality was not a disease, immoral nor a crime.
He gave free advice on sex to anyone who asked and never understood why Sigmund Freud charged patients for the same help.
