Why she might be annoying:

Her father was a hotel owner and she grew up in luxury.
When she was described as a poor girl's Diana Dors, she stopped dying her hair platinum blond.
She had an affair with Italian aristocrat Prince Filippo Orsini, causing an international scandal and loss of her 5-year marriage.
The pair made a suicide pact - she took sleeping pills and he cut his wrists (both survived).
When she was dropped from her British movie company, she went to Italy in 1959 to make forgettable foreign movies.

Why she might not be annoying:

She was chosen by the U.S. Navy as 'Miss Deep Ocean of 1954.'
Shooting a film scene, her hair caught on fire from a candle and she was burned (April 27, 1957).
While driving from Las Vegas to Hollywood with three others, the car blew a tire and crashed, ejecting her and nearly decapitating her.
She was a workhorse, making over 30 movies between 1954-60.
