    Pitcher for the San Diego Padres (1992-94, 2006-07), Houston Astros (1995-96, 2008-09), Detroit Tigers (1997-2000) and the Texas Rangers (2004-05)
    Pitching coach for the Houston Astros (2011-13), Texas Rangers (2016-18) and the Baltimore Orioles

Why he might be annoying:

    He did not make his major league debut until six years after he was drafted by the Padres.
    He played two separate stints with the Padres and the Astros franchises.
    He went 4-13 as a starting pitcher, before being converted to a reliever.
    His career was plagued by injuries.
    He was suspended for seven games for his role in Frank Francisco throwing a chair at a female fan, which broke her nose (September 2004).
    He named one of his daughters Camdyn after the Oriole Park at Camden Yards, which said is his favorite ballpark.

Why he might not be annoying:

    He was a star athlete in his hometown of Lamar, Colorado.
    He was one of the players who were part of the 12 player trade that sent Ken Caminiti to the Padres (1994).
    He showed genuine remorse for his actions following his suspension in the fallout of the chair throwing incident.
    He opted to pursue a career in coaching following his retirement from active play.
    He was considered a valuable mentor for younger pitchers, both as a player and a coach.
