He's modelled Uzbekistan to be be the closest Central Asia has come to a replica of the old Soviet Union.
He runs a police state.
He resembles Burt Young.

He was raised in a Soviet orphanage.
He's a loyal ally in America's War on Terror.
He studied engineering and economics.
