Hockey Coach

The Resume

Why he might be annoying:

He never played a game in the NHL.
He played on four different teams during his junior career.
He suffered through one of the worst debut seasons as an NHL head coach, posting a 22–56–4 record and setting new franchise futility records along the way.
He holds the dubious distinction, despite the fact he had the likes of Gabriel Landeskog and Nathan MacKinnon on the roster.
He named his kids Kruz and Savega.

Why he might not be annoying:

He guided South Carolina to the Kelly Cup championship (2009) and Lake Erie to the Calder Cup championship (2016).
Many hockey pundits felt he was put in a bad situation as he took over the Avalanche on a whim, following the sudden resignation of Patrick Roy.
He guided the Avalanche to a 47 point improvement during his second season.
He is the second coach in NHL history to record 20+ wins in his second season at the helm.
He guided the Avalanche to the franchise's first playoff series victory in over a decade (2019).
