He came under fire during the war crimes trial of Eddie Gallagher after he admitted to lobbying President Trump to pardon Gallagher for months (2019).
Why he might not be annoying
He has a strong rapport with co-host Ed Henry (although often at odds with each other).
He served in the U.S. military with deployments to Cuba, Afghanistan, and Iraq.

He was awarded the Bronze Star Medal during his service in Iraq.
