Location

The Resume

Why Landover, Maryland might be annoying:

It's not really a town, just a census designated community.
It's not well known to people, outside of sports fans.
Due to the area's sports team's representing Washington and unfamiliar to the D. C. area layout, their location easily causes mass confusion.
It has an extremely high crime rate.
Due to its close proximity to both Baltimore and Washington, D.C., it has an extremely high cost of living.
Former Redskins owner Jack Kent Cooke got permission from the country to rename the area around his football stadium to Raljon, which was a combination of both his sons names.

Why Landover, Maryland might not be annoying:

It took its name from Llandovery, Wales.
It is home to a lot of picturesque scenery.
It was home to the Landover Mall, which was the first enclosed shopping centre in the Washington metro area.
It garnered mainstream exposure, when the Capital Center was built.
It hosted the 1980 NBA & 1982 NHL All-Star Games.
Daniel Snyder wisely reverted the area around FedEx Field back to Landover, upon purchasing the Redskins.
