The Resume

    (October 29, 1941-April 21, 2020)
    Born in Plattsburgh, New York
    Donald Trump's (former) butler
Attendant at the Mar-A-Lago estate in Palm Beach, Florida
Later hired as an In-House Historian for Mar-A-Lago
Came under fire for several incendiary Facebook postings concerning President Obama and Hillary Clinton (May 2016)

Why he might be annoying:

He admitted to giving his boss an inflated assessment of his golf skills to make him feel good.
He gave a bizarre interview with Carol Costello in which he offered single sentence answers in response to questions about working for Trump (Mar. 2016).
He had a two-year stint as the mayor of Martinsburg, West Virginia (during which time he proposed a law requiring panhandlers to have permits).
His Facebook account revealed that he had called President Obama a 'Kenyan' 'secret Muslim' who needed to be 'dragged from the White Mosque' and 'hung for treason.'
Similar posts surfaced of him attacking Hillary Clinton as 'the Bitch of Benghazi' - also calling for her to be 'hanged.'
The posts' content was deemed so incendiary that the Secret Service later questioned him (he stated that 'Washington was too far of a drive' for him to make good on his threat).
The blow-back was substantial for even Trump to distance himself, disavowing the remarks as 'disgusting,' and calling him 'obviously a very troubled man.'

Why he might not be annoying:

He admitted to being on the brunt of Trump's explosive temper on several occasions (and to not really minding it).
He variously held jobs as a restauranteur, school-teacher, radio host, and tobacco shop owner.
He had worked for the Mar-A-Lago estate for nearly twenty years before it was purchased by Donald Trump, who purchased it in 1985 (he was hired by its original owner, Marjorie Merriweather Post).
He evidently wasn't bitter after Trump's very public rebuke, because he remained a staunch supporter of his Presidential bid.
This extended to defending Trump from charges leveled by reporter Natasha Stoynoff, who claimed that he had walked in just as Trump had her 'pinned down' during a 2005 encounter (his recollection was that they were merely talking when he entered).
When Trump reportedly asked him if he would come to the White House should he win the Presidency, he replied that he wished to wait on him for only 24 hours 'so it could go on my resume.'
Trump fans call him the Alfred to the Donald's Batman (wow, does that make Mar-A-Lago the Bat Cave?)
When he submitted his resignation to Trump at the end of 2009, he was reportedly told 'Tony, to retire is to expire. See you next season.'
