The Resume

    Born in United States
    Resides in Houston, Texas
At the age of 16, was one of three girls who were drugged and sexually violated at a party (Jun. 2014).
Video of the statutory rape went viral online, leading to the creation of the #Jadapose circulated on YouTube, intended to mock her rape experience and the position her body was in during the rape
Later came forward and identified herself with the intent of advocating for rape victims (Jul. 2014)

Why she might be annoying:

She might have been named after Jada Pinkett Smith.
Her case brought out the very worst of human nature, with countless people treating her gang rape as a joke via social media.
Her case inspired another instance in the growing trend of 'hashtag activism' campaigns on Twitter (e.g. #IAMJADA, #JusticeforJada).
She was the subject of an awkward interview with the women of The View, basically made to recount her rape experience before a live audience (clearly, visibly uncomfortable during the whole segment).

Why she might not be annoying:

She was a victim of cyberbullying.
She allegedly had no memory of what had transpired at the party until she returned home the next morning to find that her underwear was on backwards.
She was resilient in that she refused to be shamed into silence when her rape went viral, instead retaliating by speaking out and circulating a photo of herself in an empowering 'Rosie the Riveter' pose.
She received vocal support from numerous celebrities, including Jada Pinkett Smith and Willow Smith.
She conveyed a positive message for rape victims; mainly that they aren't the ones who should be ashamed.
The main culprits in her rape were eventually identified, arrested, and charged on two counts of sexual assault of a minor (Dec. 2014).
She wanted to become a lawyer and use her experience to further advocate for rape victims.
    She is the anti-Tawana Brawley.
