Boxer

The Resume

    (February 13, 1963-May 12, 2015)
    Born in San Antonio, Texas
    Professional boxer
Middleweight and Light Middleweight contender in the early eighties
Professional record of 31-2 with 27 wins and both losses by knockout
Recognized for his awesome talent and remembered for his repeated attacks on/rapes of women

Why he might be annoying:

He was a threat to any woman he could get his hands on and was convicted of assaulting or trying to assault women three separate times before he was twenty.
    1) As a teenager, he drunkenly wandered into the women's room at a drive-in and beat up a teenage girl who screamed in surprise.
    2) He was caught breaking into the house of a woman who had rebuffed his advances at a party earlier that evening.
    3) He raped (and sodomized) his neighbor at knifepoint.
After spending the years 1983-1999 in prison, he resumed his professional career and went an unimpressive 8-2, including his only two losses, both by tko.
In 2000, he was shot by a woman while breaking into her home (Hey anybody! Is there a pattern here or what?) and received ten years probation.
In 2004 he was stopped while speeding, had no license, and was in possession of pornography and heroin and was sentenced to ten years in prison.
He was a dirty fighter who admitted to fighting at least three times while high on heroin and once spit on an opponent after knocking him out.
He was one of the most hated fighters in boxing history.

Why he might not be annoying:

All the men in his family, his father and his older brothers, were top boxing contenders and he was certainly expected if not coerced into following into their footsteps.
He was awesomely talented with such luminaries as Ring Magazine and Muhammad Ali saying that he was the finest prospect they had ever seen and was on the cover of Sports Illustrated at age eighteen.
He was on the cover of Sports Illustrated at age eighteen.
He got the best of then welterweight champion Pipino Cuevas during a sparring session when he was only fifteen years old.
He was not known to have ever received the treatment he so clearly needed for his psychological and substance abuse problems.
