Why he might be annoying
His nickname is ‘T.D.’
He lent his voice to the ‘Madden’ video game series, as your mentor in ‘Superstar Mode.’
He was Garrison Hearst’s back-up throughout college, and because of this he didn’t get drafted until the sixth round.
His last touchdown in Super Bowl XXXII was a freebee, because the Packers thought if they let the Broncos get a quick touchdown; they’d have enough time to drive down the field and score one.
He started the ‘Mile High Salute’ touchdown celebration.
He was injury-prone, and those injuries forced him into retirement during the 2002 preseason.
Why he might not be annoying
He was named the most valuable player of Super Bowl XXXII after running for an impressive 157 yards and 3 touchdowns.
Aside from John Elway, he is probably the most popular player in Bronco history.
He is one of very few players to have rushed for over 2,000 yards in a single season.
He helped the Broncos win two consecutive Super Bowls.
He was the first in a long line of 1,000 yard running backs coached under Mike Shanahan.
His ‘Mile High Salute’ celebration wasn’t a showy celebration like most celebrations. It was just a salute to the fans.
