Why she might be annoying:

Curiosity nearly killed her.
Rescuers used special cameras, traps, cat food, a one-pound raw fish, a pet psychic and kittens to appeal to her maternal side, all to no avail.
The building she was trapped in has landmark status, so breaking into the walls was not considered an option.
New York City spent thousands of dollars trying to free her.

Why she might not be annoying:

Her plight achieved international attention - a Japanese TV station was recording the story when a passer-by yelled, 'Slow news week, huh?'
Most onlookers wanted to help and offered suggestions, including enticing her out with a male cat.
Her owner has a store (where she was trapped) which specializes in meat pies, clotted cream and other British food specialties, and the story gave him free publicity.
She was freed when a rescuer was able to crawl through a small opening, grab her hind legs and pull her to safety.
