Why he might be annoying:

    He gels up his hair.
As a player, he bounced around from professional NHL team to junior NHL team often.
He had 10 career NHL goals in 300 games and 5 career WHA goals in 178 games.
He is anti hockey players wearing protective visors because 'no team has ever won the Stanley Cup with a Captain who wore a visor.'
He has been nicknamed 'The Mullet.'
One of the first things he and his three partners did after buying the Ice Hawks was fire head coach Bryan Wells.
He honestly thinks that the reason Tony Amonte doesn't score as many points per season as he used to is because he cut his hair short.

Why he might not be annoying:

    He dresses well.
He lead the Los Angeles Kings to the Stanley Cup Finals in his first season as their head coach.
He, along with three other people, bought a piece of the Adirondack Ice Hawks, of the UHL, in order to 'keep hockey' in Glens Falls, NY.
Barry decided to come out of retirement by coaching an Ice Hawks game in order to not rush into hiring a new coach (February 1, 2004).
He once said 'I miss coaching. Sometimes, I wonder if I have been away too long. I would like to coach again. It become a part of you and it's in your blood. I've certainly always been a coach.'
He has coached Wayne Gretzky, Rob Blake, Luc Robitaille and Jari Kurri.
