Why he might be annoying:

He lost in both times he appeared in the Super Bowl (XXXIV and XXXIX).
In 2006, he ranked second as 'Sports Illustrated's yearly Most Dirtiest NFL Players list.
In fact, Chargers linebacker Shawne Merriman said that he 'was one of the dirtiest players I’ve ever been against in my whole entire life. He was real good at being dirty.'
A 2008 poll revealed that getting blocked by him on a screen pass was one of the scariest things in the NFL.
After retiring from pro football, he announced that he was running as the Republican candidate to unseat congressman John Adler in the House of Representatives (November 24, 2009).

Why he might not be annoying:

At a 2007 game, he helped the Eagles win a game against the Dallas Cowboys when he instructed Eagles running back Brian Westbrook to take a knee at the one-yard line rather than score a touchdown with two minutes left in the game so that Dallas would not get the ball back.
He enjoys bowling and often participates in games for charity.
In college, he was a two-time Michigan state shotput champion.
He made a guest appearance as a construction worker in 'It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia.'
