    He opted to play baseball full-time as he considered himself to be too short to play in the NBA.
    He relented on his letter of intent to transfer to the University of Alabama-Birmingham when he got drafted by the White Sox.
    He received little exposure in his earlier seasons as a result of playing on a poor White Sox team.
    He does the 'bat flip' after hitting home runs.
