Defenseman for the Calgary Flames (2001-05), Florida Panthers (2005-08), Anaheim Ducks (2008-09), Boston Bruins (2009), Buffalo Sabres (2009-11) and the Chicago Blackhawks (2011-12)
Died of a heart attack at the age of 35

Why he might be annoying:

He was primarily a bottom six defenseman.
He played on six different NHL teams during his career.
His nickname was 'The Matador.'
He was demoted to the Blackhawks farm affiliate during the strike shortened season, which cost him a chance to win the Stanley Cup (2013).
His mental health deteriorated considerably in the later years of his life, due to the concussions he received.

He was a staunch supporter of the Right To Play initiative.
He had his brain donated for concussion research following his death.
