The Resume

    (March 1, 1984- )
    Born in Winnipeg, Canada
Drafted 24th overall by the Toronto Maple Leafs in the 2002 NHL Draft
Centre for the St. Louis Blues
Won the Stanley Cup Final, marking the Blues' first Stanley Cup in their 52-year franchise history (2019)

Why he might be annoying:

St. Louis Today described him as 'having the messiest mouth' of the Blues roster (he's missing four teeth in various places).
He lost one of his teeth to corn on the cob. (although, that tooth had already come out and been put back in).
Prior to the 2018-19 season, he was on the trade chopping block, coming out of the most unproductive run in a decade (with only 46 total points to his credit at the time).
He was born in Winnipeg but has dual Canadian-Swedish citizenship, and chose to represent Sweden on the international stage.

Why he might not be annoying:

He is the son of Winnipeg Jets forward star Thomas Steen.
His first career goal marked the first time in league history that a father and son scored in the NHL.
One of his teeth was knocked out by teammate Kevin Shattenkirk, who swung his stick out of frustration with a bad call, inadvertently whacking him in the mouth.
His youngest brother (Amadeus) died of a heart condition at only two months.
Motivated by his brother's death, he and his family created the Amadeus Steen Foundation, which raises funds and support for infant-child health care.
