    In his CNET company profile he indicated 'My Windows PC just died.'
    He missed his exit before turning onto a sparsely traveled road usually closed during winter.
    Chances are if he remained in the car he would have been rescued with his family.
    Though he walked 16 miles he essentially made a big U-turn - his body was found less than one mile from where the car became stuck.
    Heading home from Portland after a happy family outing he was thrust into a fight for survival.
    The road he took should have been gated shut but vandals broke the lock and opened the gate.
    He desperately left clues while walking so a search party could find him.
    Rescuers state he did nothing wrong and praised him for his bravery while attempting to help his family in a 'superhuman effort.'
    An autopsy revealed he was dead less than a day before he was found.
    His favorite quote was William O'Neal's, 'Tacky, less-than-perfect shit is often times OK.'
